Once you have completed both of your Groundwork books, you will be qualified to start a Step Study group. Step Study groups are closed groups. This means there will not be anyone added to the group once it starts. We keep these groups limited to 12 participants (including facilitators.) Here at Steps Recovery Center, we are all volunteer based, so the facilitators in the Step Study groups are men and women who have been through the entirety of Groundwork and the 12 Steps of re:generation, and are now facilitating a Step Study group. As facilitators, we are also participating in the Step Study. In other words, Facilitators will be working the same lessons as the other participants in the group.

Once you enter this module of the program, you need to be committed to be consistent with doing your day-work, and consistent about showing up every week. We understand that things may come up that will make it impossible to show up, but you need to come if at all possible.  If you do miss a meeting, it will be your responsibility to get with someone in your group before the next meeting and go over your lesson with them. When you miss a meeting, the other participants in your group are missing out from hearing your perspective, and yourself from hearing their perspective.
